Climate Risk Management | Armed Violence Reduction | Forecasting and Prevention | Corporate Issues | Training
Armed violence is a major threat to security, accounting for more deaths annually across the world than violent conflicts. It is a complex phenomenon involving a strong interface between conflict and crime, increased state fragility, and links with drugs, arms and human trafficking.
Our applied experience in armed violence reduction is primarily in Nigeria, the North Caucasus, and Sudan - although we have also worked more broadly on the issue in different parts of Asia. We work with governments and corporations to conduct armed violence assessments, create community security programmes, and design law enforcement/security strategies.
